A Touch of Purple uses Net Registry and St Georges Bank to provide SSL (secure socket link) with 128 bit encryption. When processing your order online your credit card details will not be seen or stored by A Touch of Purple.
 
PRIVACY

All personal details collected are kept in strict confidence. A Touch of Purple will not use your information for any other purpose other than for the use of providing services that you have requested. Exceptions are made where fraud is suspected and the appropriate authorities may be contacted.

A Touch of Purple utilizes contractors for delivering goods. Your personal details are provided to such contractors solely for the purposes of ensuring product are delivered in accordance with your request.

We only send out emails to your supplied email address to discuss your order, your enquiry of an order
and or sending out receipts and from time to time to update our customers of our store products and specials. We do not send out spam emails however we are unable to control unauthorized spam getting to your inbox.

 
PROBLEMS WITH ORDERS

We will do our best to contact you if you have placed an order incorrectly, however if we are unable to reach you prior to the delivery date we will use our discretion as to if we can go ahead with the order or not, depending on what the actual problem is with the order. Therefore it is important to ensure all contact details are correct on the order form. This is particularly important for all interstate and international customers. CANCELLATIONS/RETURNS/REFUNDS & REPLACEMENTS

Once an order of flowers/gift basket has left the premises for delivery A Touch of Purple is unable to cancel or offer any refunds. If for whatever reason you need to cancel an order you have made either by phone or Internet purchase, please note there is a 30% administration and processing fee that will be charged to you from the total of your order.. If for whatever reason you need to cancel your order within 4 hours of estimated delivery time, you will be charged 30% processing and administration fee plus the courier fee.

If for whatever reason you are not satisfied with your order A Touch of Purple would like the opportunity to come to a reasonable and fair solution to all concerned. Please call 08 84640257 or e-mail sales@atouchofpurple.com.au to discuss your concerns with us. Please keep in mind that flowers last between 3-5 days as a rule providing you adhere to all the care instructions mentioned on this site. Please do not dispose of your arrangement if you wish to receive a possible refund as we may require inspection of the flowers to assess any concerns you may have. If the flowers have already been disposed off, then A Touch of Purple may not refund your money. If it is deemed a refund is warranted, any refunds will be credited back to the original credit card details provided at the initial ordering stage. Any refunds given can only be given on the cost of the flowers, not the total of the order.

When your flowers or gift basket is handed over to a courier for delivery it is inspected by all to ensure that it arrives at the recipient in the same condition as it was made. However if it has become apparent that your flowers or gift basket has become damaged in transit and the courier has advised us of this unforeseen incident and agrees that a replacement should be sent, we will send a replacement at no extra cost.

 
HOT WEATHER & TRANSPORTATION POLICY

A Touch of Purple ensures your flowers are left from our premises (cold room/fridge) to the courier van or car -(air conditioned vans or cars) so that your flowers are delivered to your recipient in fresh, condition. If someone is not home in warmer weather our couriers will use their judgement if the flowers or gift basket can be left behind or not.

In extreme hot weather conditions  we will not leave your order behind if nobody is home. Someone MUST BE HOME to receive order or we will attempt to leave it with a neighbour.

A second re-delivery fee will be incurred if the couriers decide it is too hot to leave flowers or gourmet/chocolate/food products behind if someone is not home and it cannot be left with a neighbour etc. This is for obvious reasons to protect the condition of what you have paid for.   So for your own protection and avoiding a second re-delivery fee please ensure you know if someone is going to be home to receive your order on very extreme hot days and give us as much information as possible in our special comments section about when would be the best time to deliver, if you know it would be ok to leave with a neighbour, mobile contact phone numbers etc.

As mentioned previously, because we know our flowers are handed to our third party courier in A1 condition, and the courier inspects all flowers before handing over to recipient we know that we are delivery high standard quality, fresh flowers.

A Touch of Purple will not be held responsible for any factors that may affect your flowers once delivery has been made to a recipient such as transportation from hospital to home in the car. Or from a workplace to the car to  home etc. EG Bruised leaves from bumps and knocks during transportation, wilting flowers from heat etc.

A Touch of Purple will also reserve the right to modify certain flower arrangements from our images you see on our website if we feel due to extreme hot weather the flowers such as gerbera's will not last as long so we will substitute at no extra cost to you to a flower of equal or greater value to ensure your flowers last as long as possible during hot weather spells.  This in turns helps to avoid any premature wilting in extreme hot weather conditions.

WEBSITE IMAGES and SUBSTITUTION POLICY

A Touch of Purple aims to match arrangements to images provided on our website as close as possible but they should only be used as a guide only.

Substitution may be due to out of stock products for gift baskets of the exact brand, out of stock flowers, seasonal factors, growers or wholesalers out of stock, products of bowls, containers, vases, boxes, baskets & other accessories of which all are subject to availability at time of order.

If substitutions of flowers occur we will always do our best to maintain the overall theme of the arrangement either replacing flower type with an equal or higher value or maintaining flower type but substituting colour.

We will try our best to reach you if major problems occur with filling certain flowers for an arrangement, however during very busy times we are not always able to do so therefore we reserve the right to substitute if and when necessary.
