Because A Touch of Purple is based in Parafield Gardens we base our fees on distance from our workshop to the delivering suburb. IF you CANNOT FIND the delivery suburb automatically come up on our checkout it does not necessarily mean we cannot deliver to your area it just may mean it is outside of the general Metropolitan area and it will be more expensive to delivery based on time and distance it may take to deliver your item.

We are not a NETWORKING FLORIST. This means when you order from us you are getting the FLOWERS AND GIFTS FROM US, not anyone else. We do not having a networking service where we forward on your order to another florist.

The advantages of this is knowing you get exactly what you ask for and what you see on our website, however it does limit our delivery range so please keep this in mind if you wonder why we do not cover certain areas for delivery.

If in doubt please do not hesitate to give us a call we are more than happy to help and offer quotes over the phone.

If you have special delivery instructions, such as if it is to be delivered to a business address, we would require the name of the company, and if you know what time the recipient is working up to that information would also be helpful. Many Companies have a reception area for receiving goods and you will need to advise if it is ok to leave with the reception or receiving area. We have provided you with a "Special Instructions" field so that you can do so.

Any other relevant information such as if delivery is to a secured apartment block, you may need to check if someone was going to be home to receive the flowers as often flats and apartment buildings do not have a safe area to leave them behind.

Not only will we require contact details of the person ordering but we will also require contact details of the recipient in case there is an issue with delivery. However if you DO NOT wish us or the couriers to contact the recipient please advise us at the ordering stage.

Delivery times can be from 8am to 6.30pm Mon-Fri and earlier or later on specific peak busy times such as Mothers Day or Valentines, Xmas etc. Whilst we do our very best to ensure deliveries are met with your specific instructions we are unable to guarantee set times.

A Touch of Purple uses a Floristry specific third party courier company for all our local Adelaide deliveries that allows a 3-4hr turnaround time from time of pickup as a general rule.(For a faster delivery turnaround time within metro Adelaide, please ring for individual quote on delivery.)

Giving us as much information as possible at the time of order is extremely important to avoid disappointments and further delivery fee charges. If someone is not home at time of delivery, as a rule the couriers will leave in a safe place. If the couriers do not feel it is safe to leave behind for whatever reason the flowers will be returned and second delivery fee charges will apply for another attempt.

If a wrong delivery address has been given  once again a second delivery fee will be charged for redirection to the new address.

HOSPITAL DELIVERIES

Please find out if the patient is likely to be discharged on the day you plan to arrange delivery.  If you are not sure please provide a backup residential address as hospitals will not give out personal information to us or couriers for redirection of your order. 

If you suspect the patient is being discharged on the day it is best to avoid delivery to the hospital and best to put a residential address to avoid second delivery charges if we have attempted to deliver to the hospital and the patient is no longer there.

If it has become apparent an order has not been received, contact us as soon as possible so we may rectify the non delivery. If by chance you have failed to provide us with the correct delivery address a second full delivery charge will occur for a second attempt
